My 3d Printing adventure... :P
So, I finally started my adventure on the 3d printing path. My first print was a failure, i attempted to print Jessica Rabbit, my muscular version ofcourse. But tphe supports peeled off the build plate and the print failed. I have learned quite a few things about 3d printing and handling the printer, resin vat, lcd screen etc. Also i oriented her wrong, facing the build plate which meant a lot of supports in the front of her. Now what that means is all the marks from the supports are going to be on her boobs and face...LOL do you see those marks, its like cigarette burns LOL. So as you can see in the photos, the back came out awesome while the front ah well there are some other mistakes i did... So stay tuned for more... And in the mean time i started preparing a new sculpt. With Velma throatlifting a zombie... hehe... I'm using the things i have learned on the first print, both in ZBrush sculpting and on the Lychee slicer slicing the print... And the experience on Jessica's print taught me that the details need to be much stronger to show up on the print, thats why Velma looks so shredded, we'll see... As soon as i get the resin, i will print out the fixed version of Jessica Rabbit and Velma... So wish me luck! :P
